Red, Red, Red



Red, Red, Red

The word red is derived from word roots that referred to blood. Red is the color of blood, and as such, it is associated with the heart, and with passion, danger, courage, sacrifice and life. It has come to be the color of love, and the red rose was deeply symbolic of love in the language of flowers.

In this exhibit, TAC members were asked to exhibit works with the color red and all its variants predominant, in honor of the month of love, and Valentine’s Day.
