Gloria Enis Senior Scholarship Exhibit 2018

Gloria Enis Senior Scholarship Exhibit 2018

May 4 - May 26, 2018

Reception: May 4, 2018; 6 - 9pm

Gloria McKibbian Enis graduated from Fort Worth’s Polytechnic High School in 1954 and received a Bachelor of Art from Texas Christian University, a Master of Art from Texas Wesleyan University. Gloria began teaching and earning honors within the Fort Worth ISD, including serving as the Magnet Coordinator at Dunbar High School, the Bayard H. Friedman Hero Award, and the FWISD Outstanding Art Teacher Award numerous times. Gloria taught art with great passion, because she herself was an artist and wanted to bring it out in others. Gloria spent many years at Northside High School in Fort Worth, where she touched the lives of many students. Her students there won many top awards and scholarships for the art that she helped to bring out of them, including first place in Imagination Celebration many years in a row. After earning her master degree, Gloria moved to Pietra Santra, Italy, a tiny village, where she restored frescoes. Her adventures in Italy were things she loved to share with her family and friends. Gloria’s favorite things in life were her family first and foremost, and then art. Gloria McKibbian Enis was an exceptional person who will be loved and missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her.
