Glass painting started off as a hobby of mine 15 years ago while residing in the Middle East where I had the opportunity to learn this unique form of art. It was appealing to me because of the unique designs and vast variety of colors and shades that can be used to paint on glass. The implementation of Islamic Art and calligraphy with the glass paint created a unique product that stood out from the rest. My primary inspiration was acquired living in the Middle East and experiencing the cultural differences. From the bright colorful Mosque stained glass designs and architecture to the vibrant colors of traditional clothing, international inspiration has always influenced my work. This art form has been my growing passion over the years and recently I have been involved with supporting various charities and foundations through the donation of my art work in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. – Tasneem Hafiz
