Geometric Abstraction

Geometric Abstraction

January 4 – January 30, 2013

Painting began as a lark and has progressed through various stages of diversion and purpose. It was easy, early on, to figure out that drawing was difficult for me.

It has been a privilege for me to be on a docent at the Modern Art Museum, for many years. History of art, references to past art, and why there is “Modern Art”, is quite logical. Painting has given me great insight into how difficult it can be to make art.

Many art works have given me inspiration. More recently, I have attempted to abstract existing important works of art. Art is important to me in many ways.
