It’s Christmas Eve, and the regulars at Aunt Maxine’s Roadside Bar and Grill have gathered to drink away the holidays. But when an unexpected visitor arrives, they’re all forced to confront- and maybe embrace- their holiday demons.
John Mark Day is a two-time TCU alum and former Fort Worthian currently living in Stillwater, Oklahoma where he teaches leadership and civic engagement at Oklahoma State University. Day moonlights as an actor and playwright, appearing regularly on stage at Stillwater’s Town and Gown Theatre in roles including David Frost in "Frost/Nixon" and "Cinderella's" Prince in Into the Woods. His first short play, "Watch Party," premiered as a part of the Heller Shorts Series in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "Christmas Eve at Aunt Maxine’s Roadside Bar and Grill" is his first full-length play. DY with his husband and their four-year-old rescue border collie named Mr. Tumnus.
