by Judith Wolf and Doris Mobley
November 5 – November 29, 2012
With more than twenty-five years of art experience I have found my niche with water and multimedia art. My work frequently displays a Matisse or Van Gogh influence. I use strong colors and patterns and unusual color combinations in cityscapes, aquatic scenes, idealized men, women and/or children, flowers, and landscapes in imaginative settings. I have often been described as an intrinsic artist and my sense of humor presents a whimsical situation in my paintings now and then.
I belong to several local art associations/societies and have received many awards and recognitions. My work is also shown in local art galleries. --Judith C. Wolf

She uses an experimental approach to most all of her work, combining colors, ideas, and materials. Her mats and frames sometimes are painted carrying on the theme of the painting. Her art work has won numerous awards included “Best of Show” and her paintings hang in many homes and businesses. She has had several one woman shows. She has been featured in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, The Colleyville News, and the Paris News, Paris, Texas.
Doris teaches children and adults and she all so donates paintings to various charities throughout the year. She is a signature member of the Society of Watercolor Artists, Co-Chairman for Mid Cities Fine Artists open and members juried shows. She is a member of the Trinity Arts Guild.
