Art&Seek Picks: Monday, May 6

•    The Fort Worth Community Arts Center has a selection of works by emerging artists from universities in the region. Mayjoring in Art; Higher Learning is on view through May 21.
•    Time is running out to see Martin Brief’s installation of Hope. The work reflects on both the optimism and hopelessness of the future. See it at the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.
•    Junior Players hosts a screening of the documentary “Our Community” tonight at the Texas Theatre. The film was made by students at 11 area schools and tells the stories of the challenges and champions they see in their communities.
