Public Art in Progress:  Six HOT new projects!

Public Art is popping up at public facilities all over the city including six new fire stations.

The city’s first commissioned public artwork, United We Stand, an installation of 12 pairs of bronze boots by Lewisville-based artist Eric McGehearty, was unveiled at Fire Station #8 in 2006 and has quickly become a well-known landmark on Rosedale Street.  Fort Worth residents can look forward to more artwork at neighborhood fire stations soon.  Check it out at www.fwpublicart.org
