Art by Darlia Hobbs and Mahto

Darlia Hobbs has lived in the DFW area since 1962. In 2005, she began her exciting journey into the world of “mixed-media” in The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth, with instructor Judy Sager. Always eager to learn new techniques, Darlia is constantly learning new and intriguing methods of abstract painting “outside the box,” which makes her artwork fresh and unique. As she likes to put it: “the more you look, the more you see.” This creative energy has earned her over 30 awards.

Johnny Mahto Hogue, fourth generation Texan, has a strong passion for fine art and the Southwest. A builder of custom saddles, horse tack, gun holsters and belts, along with his art, Mahto started receiving commission requests for portraits, both private and corporate. In 2006 he became a full time artist; he is self-taught in all medias. He prefers oil and pastel medium. Mahto teaches adult classes in all media three days a week. Also, he has won numerous awards.
