Inside My World

My intention in my creative process is to draw the viewer in, to relay ideas, information and emotion. Edgar Degas said "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
I have always been fascinated with the "aesthetic emotion" we feel when we view compelling works of art. What is it about our brains that draws us to certain things? Maybe it's that it allows us to look at and think about life in a different way. It can challenge us not just visually, but through the whole emotional, spiritual, and psychological being.
Life is like a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.  –unknown
