Iris Wilson began her artistic career at an age when many people are ending theirs.  One day, after her family had gone on with their lives, she bought a watercolor set and a pad of paper and her life changed immediately.  She painted scenes from her early environment in eastern New Mexico, flower, water and clouds.  She experimented with all the colors of the rainbow and earth to acheive her interpretation of the world in which we are all so privileged to live.

The family has asked for donations to be made to the Fort Worth Community Arts Center in memory of Iris Wilson, to support the visual arts community.  Her work will be on sale during the exhibit, with proceeds to go to the Center.
