Not Forever: Photography by Tom Siggia
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Tom has been living in Texas since 1983 and currently resides in Fort Worth. He specializes in color, black-and-white, and infrared landscape and nature photography.
Tom attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, graduating with a B.S. Finance. He also graduated with a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and is an active member of the State Bar of Texas.
As a photographer Tom is mainly self-taught. For many years, his medium of choice was black-and-white film photography in a traditional darkroom. He has since come to fully embrace the digital age and its creative possibilities. A lifelong passion for photography and travel has lead him to develop an appreciation and respect for nature’s natural beauty. He enjoys exploring new places and the challenge of creating images that people will respond to and enjoy. Through his photography, Tom tries to capture and share some of the drama and beauty of a scene so that its sense of place leaves a lasting impression. He hopes to convey his excitement and joy in capturing these images and the sense of wonder that nature inspires.
Tom’s work can also be seen in the Fine Arts Gallery at the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, Texas from May 3 – June 11, 2011. Please visit www.tomsiggia.com or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
