Presented by Tom Huckabee

Multi-hyphenate artist Tom Huckabee returns to FWCAC with a provocative series of new works on canvas and paper.  Huckabee, who makes his living in the entertainment business, is currently enjoying considerable acclaim on the film festival circuit with his  semi-autobiographical feature “Carried Away.”  He brings a uniquely Hollywood process to the production of art, acknowledging that many of his current pieces are “stories I’ve had in development for as many as thirty-five years, showing up in my work alternately as sketches, acrylics on acetate, comic books, screenplays, photographs, songs, animations, and narrative films.” As part of the exhibition he will display evidence of his creative process.
