Daniel Corona

Daniel Corona grew up in Brownfields. After High School he joined the Army and served in Afganistan. Follwing his discharge, he struggled for years with emotional effects of what he saw overseas and was essentially disabled. With help he has become a stable young man again, but with one difference. He feels compelled to paint. His abstract work with acrylics on glass is a stunning visual record of chaos and order, movement and the moment, light and dark. A "natural" artist with no previous training beyond high school. Daniel Corona makes pain visible, he echoes the fragility of the human spirit in inhumane circumstances.
